Facilitator Help & Links

If you have signed up to become a Climate for Change Facilitator, but can't remember where you are supposed to go next — this page is for you!

At Climate for Change (C4C) we love our acronyms, and these can get confusing too! Here is a list of all of the things we would love you to know/attend:

Online Learning Platform (OLP)

This is where you will find our training resources, including Course 1: Talking about climate change (TACC); and Course 2: Facilitating Climate Conversations (FCC)

Sign into the OLP here

Reset your password here if you have forgotten it.

If you are wanting to enrol in Course 2 see the link at the bottom of this page, or you can find all available courses on your Student Dashboard by clicking on View All Courses.

Monthly Climate Conversation

We run these online, usually held on the first Monday of each month. Although not compulsory for your training, they are a great way of experiencing a Climate Conversation as an attendee, if you haven't been to one before.

Live Session of New Facilitator Training (NFT)

In order to become a C4C Facilitator, you'll need to choose a suitable date for the Live Session component with one of our trainers. We hold several of these per month, and they are conducted online via the Zoom platform. Don't forget to give yourself enough time before this session to prepare — you need to complete all of Course 1, and the first chapter of Course 2 before attending this session (although this shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours at the most).

RSVP for a Live Session NFT here

Ongoing Facilitator Training (OFT)

Each month (subject to current Covid-19 restrictions) C4C will aim to run a Face-to-Face OFT at our office in Brunswick Victoria, and an Online OFT via Zoom. These sessions usually go for 1.5-2 hours, and are an excellent opportunity to connect with the facilitator community, debrief on recent Climate Conversation experiences, share insights, and on occasion receive skill-based training from external facilitators. You are welcome to attend the next OFT even if you haven't finished your training or attended the NFT session yet — we'd love to see you!

Ready to Host / Facilitate your first Climate Conversation?

All of the information and resources you need for Hosting or Facilitating for the first time are found in Course 2: Facilitating Climate Conversations.

If you have finished Course 1, please make sure you enrol in Course 2 (especially before your NFT session). Here's a direct link for you:
