Brisbane MPEG

We're connecting people across Brisbane to build relationships with the federal and state MP's. This is a very important time to email your new or returning MP to introduce yourself as a community member who cares, and to let them know how you want them to act on climate change. Whether you're reaching out to your MP for the first time, or reconnecting after a previous meeting, We will reach out to Federal & State MPs to build relationships with them. They should be keen to take the mood of constituents post-election, so it's a great time to meet with them and have a direct chat!

We'll talk about meeting with your MP and direct you to some great resources to help you plan. Our fabulous MPEG volunteer team have also prepared a number of issue briefings for you here with links to extra background reading, if you want to find out more before the session. (Not necessary though – just come along and we'll fill you in.)

ALL WELCOME – feel free to invite along any friends or family who are keen to take action, even if it's their first time!

We will be hosting this MPEG for people from any electorate around Brisbane to come together and write to their Federal or State MP's, so no matter where you are, come join us! It will be held in person at New Farm Park - exact location will be sent to RSVP list.

You'll need your laptop or tablet, and we'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to make a difference.
If you're not bringing tech along, please bring a pen and paper to write a letter :)
