Zoom MP Engagement Group – 1st June

RSVP for our Zoom MPEG - Wednesday 1st June 7.30-9pm (AEST)

This will be a very important time to email your new or returning MP to introduce yourself as a community member who cares, and to let them know how you want them to act on climate change.

We want our government to take advantage of new opportunities in the clean energy economy, and we want to protect our communities and ecosystems from the worst impacts of climate change. We will reach out to our new or re-elected MPs to introduce ourselves, convey our concern and ideas, and ask for a time to visit them in person.

We can’t afford to waste this opportunity – let’s get in early and let our new representative know what we expect them to do. Your MP should be keen to take the mood of constituents post-election, so it's a great time to ask to meet with them and have a direct chat! In this session we'll talk about how to visit your MP, and direct you to some great resources to help you plan your meeting.

Whether it's been a while since you joined us for an MPEG session, you're a regular or this will be your first one – we'd love for you to join us to demand action on climate from our new or returning MPs.

You'll need your laptop or tablet, and we'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to make a difference.

We'll send you the Zoom link when you RSVP below.

Newcomers welcome! Please feel free to invite any friends or family who are keen to take action. Now is the perfect time to keep the pressure on – what are you waiting for? :)

Are you in Brisbane? Come to our in-person MP Engagement Group meeting on June 1st instead! RSVP here for our Brisbane MPEG on June 1.
