Climate action workshops to support businesses, non-profit organisations and councils
Meaningful conversations are one of the most effective tools to change minds and inspire action on climate change.
Through deep peer-to-peer conversations, we engage and activate audiences that other organisations find hard to reach. Connecting people who are taking action creates the groundswell of support needed to compel our leaders and businesses to take action.
Our employee engagement tools, detailed below, are designed to maximise impact for businesses, organisations or councils. These fee-for-service offerings can be mixed and matched to suit individual needs, however we recommend using all three to achieve deepest engagement.

Effective Conversations Workshops (1 or 2 hours)
Our expert-run workshops are designed to up-skill staff and community members in effective climate communication.
The workshop will ensure that participants are well equipped to effectively communicate climate information in a range of settings, from formal presentations to informal conversations.
This one or two hour workshop will help participants:

Navigate tricky topics and respond to common climate questions and reactions - including scepticism and apathy, doomism and denial.

Share their own authentic climate story in a way that motivates and inspires others.

Break through the “climate silence” by turning everyday conversations into powerful opportunities for change
Climate Conversation Workshops
Introduction to Climate Workshops (1 or 2 hours)
Host a Climate Conversation for your staff or community, facilitated by Climate for Change. Your facilitator will guide the group through understanding climate science, exploring solutions, and discovering how to push for systemic change through democratic action. It's a safe space to ask any question, share concerns, and connect emotionally with the issue. At the end, everyone gets resources and tools to continue their climate action journey.
This could serve as a tool for raising awareness and engagement, or as an opportunity to experience the model before beginning our Climate Facilitator Training. Read more about our Climate Conversations here.
Taking Climate Action Workshop (1 or 2 hours)
This workshop is for groups already concerned about climate change and ready to act. You'll spend the first hour discussing what systemic climate action looks like. Then you'll spend the second hour actually doing it. You’ll leave feeling more confident and with a plan to embed climate action sustainably in your everyday life.
This can be a one-off session, or the seed for a regular Climate Action Club in your workplace or community.
