Hot & Heavy - The Afterparty Workshop

Part performance, part dance floor uprising, Hot & Heavy is a live performance work presenting at Midsumma Festival 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th January 2026.

Climate for Change is excited to be working with the Hot & Heavy team to deliver post-performance workshops.

The workshop

‘The Afterparty’, a post-performance, creative and embodied workshop where the energy from the dance floor can be transformed into real-world action, exploring those themes from the show, connecting with local climate groups and meeting like-minded new people.

The workshops will be held 27th January and 17th February.

Anyone is welcome to join, though you will get much more out of the workshop if you have attended one of the performances.

Learn more and book to attend the performance here.

The workshop will comprise a small group of approximately 20 people. You will be led through a series of activities including movement, inspiring discussions, and training on how to speak about about climate issues with the Climate for Change Facilitators. You will hear about upcoming opportunities to connect in with the climate movement here in Naarm. It's a great chance to start the new year with refreshed energy for making a difference in your world.

Both workshops are exactly the same content - just book yourself into one date that best suits you.
