Learning, connection, action!

RSVP for our Online Climate Action Club - Thu 9th April 7.30-9pm (AEST)

Writing to your elected representative is one of the most effective things you can do to make your voice heard, and to put pressure on governments to take action on climate change. This session will support you to do just that!

In this session, we will be focussing on the gas profits tax. The government is looking into a fossil fuel tax in response to the Middle East war. Right now fossil fuel companies are making extraordinary profit off this global situation, all while Australians are battling a worsening cost of living crisis and climate disasters. Join us to send an email or leave a voice memo for key ministers and MPs letting them know this is something you support.

Make sure you RSVP below for the Zoom link!

We'll support you to put effective pressure on our Federal and State MPs by writing emails and planning calls and visits to them. If you're new to this activity there'll be plenty of help and all the resources you need to take effective action. Whether you're a newbie, or have joined us before, everyone is welcome!

You'll need your laptop or tablet. We'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to write emails to MPs that make a difference.

We'll send you the Zoom link when you RSVP below.

Newcomers welcome! What are you waiting for? :) Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, engage, and make a difference. Together, we can work towards a more transparent and fair democracy that prioritises the health of people and our planet.
