RSVP for our Zoom MP Engagement Group (MPEG) event - Tuesday 16th September 7.30-9pm (AEST)
Join us on Tuesday 16th September, at 7:30 PM (AEST, click here for your local time) for an engaging online session with Climate for Change's MP Engagement Team.
This month, we will be screening the 30 minute documentary "Corals' Last Stand", and then in the second hour writing to our MPs and relevant ministers to ask them to protect Scott Reef and oppose Woodside's Browse proposal.
Writing to your elected representative is one of the most effective things you can do to make your voice heard, and to put pressure on governments to take action on climate change. This session will support you to do just that!
Make sure you RSVP below for the Zoom link!
We'll support you to put effective pressure on our Federal and State MPs by writing emails and planning calls and visits to them. If you're new to this activity there'll be plenty of help and all the resources you need to take effective action. Whether you're a newbie, or have joined us before, everyone is welcome!
You'll need your laptop or tablet. We'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to write emails to MPs that make a difference.
We'll send you the Zoom link when you RSVP below.
Newcomers welcome! What are you waiting for? :) Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, engage, and make a difference. Together, we can work towards a more transparent and fair democracy that prioritises the health of people and our planet.
