Zoom MPEG - 17 April

RSVP for our Zoom MP Engagement Group (MPEG) - Wednesday April 17th 7.30-9pm (AEDT)

Join our April session to hear from Peter Moraitis, a volunteer with the Beyond Gas Network, about new briefing papers developed to inform citizens how laws can be used to address the gas problem in Australia, and beyond. The Beyond Gas Network is a grassroots group that believes "educating our community about the scale and impact of expansion plans proposed by the gas industry will encourage citizens to constructively express their outrage to their federal and state members of parliament. Our ongoing education campaign through town hall meetings, large-scale webinars, the media and social media, highlights the devastating consequences of gas emissions for our environment our health, climate and our future."

Make sure you RSVP for the Zoom link!

At this session, you will have the opportunity to take action on local and national campaigns or other current climate issues.

We'll support you to put effective pressure on our Federal and State MPs by writing emails and planning calls and visits to them. If you're new to this activity there'll be plenty of help and all the resources you need to take effective action. Whether you're a newbie, or have joined us before, everyone is welcome!

You'll need your laptop or tablet. We'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to write emails to MPs that make a difference.

We'll send you the Zoom link when you RSVP below.

Newcomers welcome! What are you waiting for? :)
