RSVP for our Zoom MP Engagement Group (MPEG) - Tuesday March 19th 7.30-9pm (AEDT)

At this session you will hear from Leigh Ewbank the Climate Outreach Manager for Solutions for Climate Australia, a federal political advocacy project of CANA. Leigh will provide a brief update on a soon to be launched campaign for climate solutions.

We'll also hear from Mike Pulsford, Campaign Manager for Parents for Climate about the Solar Our Learning campaign they're taking to Canberra the week after our workshop.

After the presentations, you will have the opportunity to take action on these campaigns or other current climate issues. We'll support you to put effective pressure on our Federal and State MPs by writing emails and planning calls and visits to them. If you're new to this activity there'll be plenty of help and all the resources you need to take effective action. Whether you're a newbie, or have joined us before, everyone is welcome!

After the presentations, you will have the chance to actively engage with these campaigns or other pressing climate issues. We'll provide guidance and support to help you effectively lobby your Federal and State MPs through writing emails and planning phone calls and in-person visits. Whether you're new to advocacy or a seasoned activist, we'll provide ample assistance and resources will be available to empower you to take impactful action. Everyone, regardless of experience level, is encouraged to join us!

You'll need your laptop or tablet. We'll have templates, materials, and ideas to make it easy to write emails to MPs that make a difference.
