Queensland - Climate for Change

Climate for Change’s mission is to create the social climate in Australia for effective action on climate change. Having conversations about climate with people in your networks is one of the most impactful things you can do to affect change in your own community.

We need to have as many conversations about climate change as possible to build strong support for climate action from government, businesses and community.

The last federal election saw MPs with strong climate policies elected across the country – what a moment! But we still have a way to go to put an end to climate damage. We need everyone on board, taking action & talking to others.

We're enabling conversations, running events and offering resources to help you improve your climate communication skills – and we'd love you to get involved!

Learn more about what we do here, what you can do about climate change here, and how you can join us.

Come meet us at upcoming University Market Days across Brisbane

We'll be having climate chats, offering petitions to sign, sharing events and getting to know students who are interested in taking action by talking about climate change with their network. Dates and Times:

  • Griffith University (GU)
    • Logan Campus - Wednesday July 20th: 10:00am to 2:00pm

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, whose sovereignty was never ceded. We acknowledge that Indigenous peoples around the world are at the forefront of climate change, both in experiencing its effects and leading solutions for change. We pay our sincerest respects to all Elders, past and present.
