Introducing our 2020 Fellows

Our 2020 Fundraising and Communications Fellowship program has launched!

While this year looks a little different to last, we are thrilled to announce that our 2020 Fundraising and Communications Fellowship program has officially kicked off!

Moving the program online due to COVID-19 has presented both new challenges and opportunities. We are saddened that the Fellows will not have the opportunity to meet and connect in person (at least for now), but running the program remotely has also meant that we can make it available Australia-wide and accept more Fellows than ever before. We’re excited to announce that we have 45 Fellows from 6 states and territories!

Over the last couple of weekends the Fellows attended a virtual retreat via Zoom, where they learnt all about Climate for Change and our crowdfunder. They have jumped in feet first to begin planning for the campaign and also helped to decide our target for this year - to be announced soon!

For the next 4 months, they will have weekly sessions with expert guest speakers, learning about key skills used in the not-for-profit sector. In the final five weeks of the program, they will fundraise in and provide critical support to coordinate our annual crowdfunder, which last year raised over $200,000.

A big thank you to all of our Fellows for their dedication and passion so far. We can’t wait to see what our enthusiastic new team can achieve over the next four months!
