Volunteer Bush walk & MPEG - Meeanjin (Brisbane)

Start the new year with a Climate for Change bush walk and learn to engage on climate topics with state and federal MPs.

We will meet at the J.C. Slaughter Falls carpark at 9:00am and decide as a group which trail we would like to follow. All levels of fitness are welcomed, and feel free to bring kids too (we won't do one that is too challenging).

Once we set off on our walk, we will use this time to connect with each other, get to know each other, and Tenielle the Climate for Change QLD Community Organiser will share updates and news about what's happening around Brisbane and QLD in the coming months. We will also chat about connecting to our environment, as this is something that the community is collecting trying too safe guard for future generations.

Once we finish our hike, we will find a nice spot to sit and enjoy some light snacks or feel free to purchase a coffee or juice from the Retro CAFE van.
After experiencing nature, we'll together craft a letter to our local MPs about ensuring they're doing all that they can for climate. Tenielle will bring along the resources required and this will be tech free!

We would love to see you there, bring along friends or family :)

Please arrive no later than 9:15am, to ensure we can all head out to the bush walk together.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Tenielle.
