Double your impact and break the climate stalemate

EthicalJobs is kicking off our Break The Climate Stalemate appeal, matching the first $5000 raised – but only between now and 12pm next Thursday, June 10!

Over the last few years, we’ve learnt what it means to live in a climate crisis in Australia: deadly fires, massive floods, unprecedented storms, and irreversible reef bleaching events.

Yet, action on climate change has been stuck for decades. We need to break this climate stalemate and create multi-partisan support for climate action.

With your help, we can expand our Climate Conversations Program in key strategic areas in New South Wales and Queensland, where we will empower everyday Australians to speak up for climate action.

We’re the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia that’s dedicated to helping people have better conversations about climate change – and helping them translate their concern into action.

The upcoming election, which could be as soon as this September, is a huge opportunity to build multi-partisan support for strong climate policy – and there are a few strategic areas in Australia that are key to making this happen.

With your support, we can inspire hundreds of people in traditionally conservative and politically significant areas to voice their concerns, and make it impossible for their representatives to ignore their concerns any longer.

With your support we will:

  • Deeply engage 5000 people in NSW and QLD alone through our Climate Conversations Program over the next year
  • Train hundreds of facilitators to run Climate Conversations in key areas in NSW and QLD
  • Activate hundreds of people to demand climate action from their local MP in the lead up to the federal election and beyond

And this week only, you have the opportunity to double your impact!
