MPEGs Community: Election Special Event

Join us for a special MPEGs Community Meetup: Wednesday 6th April, 7pm - 8.30pm (AEST)

Election Special: The upcoming election, MPEGs and Strategy

Let's talk about strategy for the upcoming federal election — what are your plans for engaging with MPs and candidates on climate?

Our MPEG Community is made up of local MP Engagement Groups around Australia, working side-by-side in all parts of the country to push our elected leaders to be better. This time we’ll also be joined by the Climate for Change volunteer facilitator community, and our new Climate Communications Bootcamp trainees for a jam-packed session!

We'll hear from Jane Stabb - Co-CEO of Climate for Change, about the latest thinking within the climate movement and politics, and we'll unveil the latest Climate Poll news and resources. We'll then brainstorm ideas on how to engage with your MPs, candidates and the local community in this crucial pre-election time.

About our guest:

Jane is an organiser by trade, and has worked and volunteered in the climate movement for the past decade. She's run scaled, people-powered campaigns building and leveraging community power to get wins for our climate. She loves supporting people and communities to make change, and she is passionate about creating a safe world for those who come after us.
