Volunteer Movie Night

Join us this march to watch 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power'!

A decade after An Inconvenient Truth brought climate change into the heart of popular culture comes the follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution.

Former Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world to train an army of activists and influence international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes -- in moments both private and public, funny and poignant -- as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

A must see for anyone passionate about clime change!

- Arrive from 6.15pm to have first dibs at the vegetarian antipasto platters.

- From 6:30 we will have a brief volunteer info session, to outline the roles and opportunities on offer for 2017.

- From 7:00 to 8:45 we will plonk ourselves in the cinema to watch 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power'

- Our booking then extends until close (11pm), so hanging around afterward for more chats/drinks/food is highly encouraged!

Please RSVP confirm catering numbers. While the venue hire and film screening is free, we ask you to bring a $5 - $10 donation to cover food costs.

*This event is open to any of our current volunteers AND volunteers-to-be, so don't be shy!
