Volunteer

Climate for Change is powered by volunteers.
Without their support, we simply would not be able to continue empowering Australians to make a deep commitment to taking action on climate change. And, as we continue to have conversations with more people across the country, the support of our volunteers is more crucial than ever.

Our volunteer opportunities are varied: they can encompass anything from giving a couple of hours of your time at a working bee, through to managing whole projects over many months. There are a variety of front of house roles, such as hosting, facilitating, organising events and fundraising, and back of house roles, including data entry, web development, and administrative and research roles.

We support our volunteers with training opportunities, connections to mentors and useful networking within the climate movement - and of course, opportunities to connect with like-minded people to inspire and support you!

To get involved, fill in your details below.

We constantly strive to make our volunteers feel supported and fulfilled in the roles they are doing. The questions below will help us match you with a position that is right for you.

By signing up below, you’ll also receive our fortnightly Volunteer Update newsletter, which keeps you up-to-date with all our current opportunities.

You can also join our Climate for Changemakers Facebook group and keep an eye out for what’s happening in the C4C community.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, whose sovereignty was never ceded. We acknowledge that Indigenous peoples around the world are at the forefront of climate change, both in experiencing its effects and leading solutions for change. We pay our sincerest respects to all Elders, past and present.
